Mr. Berisha is also well known for his experience of over 13 years in all phases of liquidation, concession, and privatization processes of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) of the Republic of Kosovo. He served as the Head of the Legal Department at the “Kosovo Privatization Agency” and was responsible for coordinating all privatization processes of SOEs with the Republic of Kosovo. He also represented the Agency in numerous complex international arbitration proceedings.

In addition, he has been involved in several Working Committees for drafting and adopting various national laws, most recently serving as a Member of the Working Committee for the adoption of the Law on Economic Recovery – COVID-19.

Mr. Berisha also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Kosovo Telecom J.S.C.”, where he led one of the most prominent institutions in the Republic of Kosovo. His expertise also extends to Banking Law, where he worked as a Mortgage Legal Advisor for Raiffeisen Bank, primarily dealing with mortgage-related properties. Mr. Berisha holds a Master’s degree in Financial Law, with a thesis focused on Fiscal Policies in Kosovo. He is fluent in Albanian, English, and Serbo-Croatian.
